Since "Silicone Villeray," his first album in French, Robert Robert has proven that his transition from DJ to singer-songwriter was a great idea.
Nominated for the Félix-Leclerc Prize, the SOCAN Songwriting Prize, the Slaight Music Prize, and in the categories of Alternative Album at the ADISQ and Pop Album at the GAMIQ, the album quickly caught attention on both sides of the Atlantic, leading to dozens of performances across the country.
He released his second album, "Bienvenue Au Pays," in May 2023, which he describes as his country album: a vulnerable collection of repressed emotions, a mix of anachronistic stories and metaphors, between hits and pop anomalies, with both Quebec and international influences.
