Montrealer with Brazilian roots, Fernie released his debut album "Aurora" in the fall of 2021; a collection of vulnerable lyrics, emancipated soul, and melodic R&B, resonating with inclusion and subtle nuances of '90s melancholy. Over a three-year process, the queer artist sought to be seen as a whole person, creating an album led by an agile voice that narrates and connects the past, present, and future.
Throughout the past year, Fernie toured Quebec, performing at festivals such as Osheaga, MUI Jazz Festival, FEQ, POP Montreal, and more. The tracks "New Beginnings" and "Back There" received significant airplay on Sirius XM.
